Changing WP Permalinks

I just found out one of the greatest plugin in WP history [that is of course in my opinion ]. When I started blogging on my WP blog, I had no idea about the ability to change permalinks. So, I stuck with the default one and later changed it to include year/month/post title. However, I still hated the fact that the post number appeared on the permalink.

With this Permalink Migration Plugin, users who visit your site through old permalinks will get a “301 Redirect” which will then redirect them to the new permalinks of the same post. So, there is no worries about your indexed pages being invalid or visitors who have bookmarked your site not being able to visit. Many thanks goes out to Dean Lee, the person who came out with this plugin.

I have successfully changed my permalinks to /category/postname, done some testing and everything seemed to work fine. If anyone of you who have tried it out, do share your experience, whether your permalinks are having problem or running smoothly.
