ME x 8 Tag

This is the first time this lovely mom tagged me, so must not disappoint her. This tag is originally titled “8 Random Facts About Me“. Here goes:

1. I’m an introvert, a hermit, an anti-social out cast. I love sitting at home instead of going for gatherings and social functions.

2. My favourite drink is none other than COKE.

3. My parents are divorced and when I was younger, my mom used to ferry me to and fro from school using a motorbike. Instead of appreciating her rushing through jam, rain or shine, I remembered feeling ashame of using the motorbike as my other classmates’ parents had cars. My mom found out (and I believe I broke her heart to pieces that day) and taught me a lesson via the cane which I have never forgotten. Since then, I have never been ashame of our poverty.

4. When I was under my grandmother’s care at age 4-5, I love eating fried chicken backside (is that what you call it?) Now, you can forget about asking me to even look at it!

5. I ‘ve been married to a Cantonese man for 8 years but I can’t speak that language.

6. When I left school, all I wanted to be was a flight attendant because it was a cool job. When I finally got the offer, I rejected it. Is that satisfaction or what?

7. When I was in my teen, I had a huge collection of magazine cut outs of Hong Kong movie stars. I even spend whatever little pocket money I have saved up to buy these magazines, cut them out and paste them in my collection books.

8. I love to dance. I intend to take up Salsa when Mei Mei is older and when I can spare the time.
