PPP Direct

For those who have have not tried out PayPerPost (PPP), you can read more about them in my earlier post. PPP has recently launched a new feature called PPP Direct which allows posties to use the above badge (and a few others) to indicate that Advertisers can hire them to write reviews directly.
With PPP Direct, bloggers can reach out to advertisers, even those not currently in the PPP network, and advertise your own blogs and content. To get started, bloggers just need to copy and paste the appropriate HTML snippet into their blog template.
Advertisers that come across the blog can then click on the image in the blog and create an opportunity just for that particular blogger. The blogger will get an email with the opportunity details and offer amount and can then log into PayPerPost.com to actually negotiate terms with the advertiser to get the very best deal.
In my opninion, PPP is also challenging the market which once belonged to ReviewMe by having a directory listings of all the PPP Direct blogs (my mommy blog, IMMomsDaughter is pictured in the listing below). Personally, I do not believe that Advertisers will go surfing for blogs that appeals to them. So, if PPP were to beat ReviewMe in their own game, the directory listing is definitely the way to go!

Why should PPP launch this service? Simply because they earn 10% out of the review amount. Not much and pretty reasonable if compared to ReviewMe. With this 10% cut, PPP provides the service of handling payment processing and tax reporting required in order to successfully complete a sponsored post transaction. In other words, bloggers can avoid the nitty gritty work and concentrate on writing their sponsored posts.
I have PPP Direct badge up on two of my blogs. So, let’s see whether it works for me.
I hope PayPerPost fix the glitches on the website soon.
Especially the critical glitch regarding the post submissions.
I have not earned from PPP Direct yet but it seems good.
Hmmmm….I wans’t aware there was a problem. Must check out the forum. Thanks for the alert.
