Like It Or Not, High Page Rank Is Status!

Though many may argue that Page Rank is not important to a website, I believe whatever Google feels is important, there is no point saying it is not. Like it or not, Having a high Page Rank is like having celebrity status. It is akin to the Academy Awards in the film industry, likewise Technorati is the Emmy and Alexa is Cannes . I should add that writing a great post which gets dugg and stumbled upon is like having a Blockbuster Movie!

It has also been said that Google Page Rank can be manipulated. But so what? So can other determinants like Technorati and Alexa. But do the advertisers care? Are they still using these tools to gauge the worth of your websites? I leave the answer to you….but personally, I believe in this simple formula:

Google Page Rank 5 and above = More $$$
