my hoster told me that if i add the no follw plugin and i receive a lot of spam, it might bring down ur page rank. now how?

Miche, I think if your blog already has an established readers, you can do away with the DoFollow. If its’ like this one, I wanna encourage readers to comment first.
But as for the spam, if you have Askimet, deleting them spam should not have any effect to your PR, right?
