I had a shorter than expected break which included some retail therapy ;) Works wonder when you want to de-stress.

One of the main reason I’m posting today is because of the recent Google Page Rank update which many bloggers including myself got hit with a drop in PR. I believe there’s no point crying over spilt milk so the next best thing is making sure that it does not happen again in the next update.

There’s a lot of speculation going around that many bloggers got penalized due to the links or blogrolls that they have on their blogs or websites. I really cannot verify the validity of this rumour so, it is up to you to judge. However, I do know that even sites like Forbes, Statcounter and Washington Post were penalized. It just goes to show that Google is the boss and we have no control over the Page Rank shift.

Anyway, for those who fear more repercussions from Google in future and would like to have the BDMM blogroll removed from their blogs, please feel free to drop me a line. I will attend to your request as soon as I can. However, do note that once your blog is removed, future request to return to the community will not be entertained. I will need to impose this condition to be fair to those who are loyal and supportive of my community through good as well as bad times.
