Let’s Look At SERP

Since Page Rank has been receiving a lot of bad raps due to Google smackdown recently, many have suggested looking at SERP instead. So, what is SERP? It stands for a search engine results page and is the listing of web pages returned by a search engine in response to a keyword query.
The results normally include a list of web pages with titles, a link to the page, and a short description showing where the keywords have matched content within the page. Here’s a look at how this blog fare on today’s search engines like MSN, Yahoo and Google on certain keywords I’ve chosen:
On Google - Ranked 23 out of 166,000,000 for Make Money Blogging (ahead of Blogitive)
Verdict : Not too bad
(cannot beat high profile bloggers like Problogger, DoshDosh, 5xMom, etc)
Yahoo - Ranked 7 for XXX keyword Verdict : Ahhh….Getting Better
MSN - Ranked 4 out of 2,610,000 for XXX keywords Verdict : Surprise, surprise, another one on the 1st page of a search engine 
GOOGLE - RANKED NO 1 FOR XXX KEYWORDS
VERDICT : WOO HOO……DUDES, 1 OUT OF 4,290,000!!! Beat that!!!
This is not a bragging post but to show you that if a mom like me,
who knows nuts about SEO and keywords can rank no.1, so can you!
