I Got Scammed! (Part 1)

I am embarassed to confess that I got scammed on the net but I decided to blog about it so that NONE of you reading this will be as stupid (don’t laugh!)and gullible as me to fall for this sort of scam. You know how women are…….when I could not withdraw my Paypal money due to some issues with VMI card, my evil self started making excuses to spend money online.

Don’t ask me how but I decided to experiment with paid surveys to see whether it really worked. I happen to land upon a site that wrote about how they had done a study on a couple of hundred paid survey companies and recommended the Top 3. That was how I got to know about the so called Top Paid Survey Company called HighestPaySurveys (no links as I do not want them to benefit from it)

• I KNEW I was not supposed to pay for such service
• I KNEW I should not sign up for anything without doing a research
• I KNEW $49.95 was a pretty excessive amount to pay for

But despite all that, I clicked the payment tab. Then, I got access to the member’s area which included links to websites that you could sign up with for paid survey jobs, paid to give out samples, paid to drive, yadda yadda yadda. So, it was obvious to me by then that all these links could easily be obtained for free from the net. I was totally shocked when the realization sank in as these are afterall money earned through my hard work.
